  • Service Credit Purchases

    Service Credit Purchases are processed every six months. First, request your Service Credit Cost Statement from SamCERA. Then, use the Service Credit Purchase Form available here.

    Service Credit Purchases forms must be submitted to HR/Benefits no later than the Friday three weeks prior to the cutoff, which is the first Thursday in June and December.

  • To request a distribution from the plan:

    Former County of San Mateo Employees can call 1-800-743-5274, Monday - Friday, 5 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST. No paperwork is required.

  • To enroll in the plan:

    Contact your local MassMutual Retirement Education Specialist, Patrick Washington at 1-888-593-0259 or pwashington@massmutual.com to schedule an appointment.

  • For assistance with rollovers:
