Service Credit Purchases are processed every six months. First, request your Service Credit Cost Statement from SamCERA. Then, use the Service Credit Purchase Form available here.

Service Credit Purchases forms must be submitted to HR/Benefits no later than the Friday three weeks prior to the cutoff, which is the first Thursday in June and December.

Former County of San Mateo Employees can call 1-800-743-5274 to request a distribution from the plan; no paperwork is required.
